GDG (Google Developers Group) Ahmedabad a proactive forum that often organizes meetups to discuss the emerging trends in IT technologies and the newly launched IT tools, has yet again hosted a grand knowledge sharing event – GDG Conclave, this time in the city of Rajkot.

Rajkot one of the Gujarat’s fastest developing city and an emerging IT destination has been instrumental in contributing and developing some of the finest engineers, that could be absorbed by the Gujarat’s IT industry.

GDG Developers Conclave event was well supported by the LetsNurture and Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rajkot. The event was directed towards imparting learning and information sharing to the tech enthuse audience.

LetsNurture had been actively involved in making this event a huge success. Many prominent speakers and tech enthusiasts from the LetsNurture contributed  by delivering some techno-trendy sessions.

Key speakers from team LetsNurture contributed in upcoming web and mobile technologies. Topics presented in the forthcoming technologies included:

Anatomy of mobile applications: It showcased how an idea passes through several stages to  eventually turn out into a fully functional and profitable mobile app.

Advanced API: It threw a light on how Android API could be used as reusable API to make app development faster and more convenient.

Retrofit: It is a type-safe HTTP client for Android and Java that helps to capture JSON responses from a web API.

Internet of Things: It discussed about usage & future of Internet of things(IoT), its hardware and support.

Data-binding: It primarily focused on finding view by id and writing declarative layout through data binding.

Ionic: It is the emerging web technology that unleashed the flexibility and the significance of hybrid apps.

Apart from the speakers from the LetsNurture, there were many other eminent orators who unbolted their knowledge taps to create awareness and impart learning.

Other meetups

CEO meet: While the developers were attending techno sessions going at the event, panel discussion of CEOs of some the emerging IT companies in Rajkot, also took place in parallel. They gathered and shared their views on the growth and future of IT industry in the coming years.

College HOD meet: Later in the afternoon, HODs of some the prominent engineering colleges of Rajkot, held a brief discussion on – how could they keep their prospective students in sync with the upcoming technological trends and make them market ready.

Finally in the evening the event concluded with thank you note and farewell speech. Team LetsNurture was lauded for their contribution, enthusiasm and for their everlasting spirit of sharing.
