As the autumn commences, everyone in Gujarat looks forward to a sacred opportunity of worshiping the divine deity, Maa Durga. These nine holy days of celebration are known as ‘Navratri’. During these days, apart from seeking blessings from the Goddess Durga, people of all ages and backgrounds get together and indulge in a form of dance known as ‘Garba’ and ‘Raas’.
Over the years, traditional Garba has gained a more modern approach. Especially when it comes to youngsters, they leave no stone unturned to look at their best, dance and have a great time! What is more surprising is that Navratri has also made its way into the corporate culture!
LetsNurture plans for 2 big days to play Garbas
It can prove to be quite difficult for the employees to work during the day time and especially, when some of them have indulged into fasting and celebrations during the night. In order to ward off the boredom and keep the spirits high among the employees, the authorities of LetsNurture decided to arrange for Garba celebrations on 27th and 28th of September at Barsana Urban Village and Shantigram respectively.

LetsNurture thought of planning this event to bring in more team spirit among the members and see to it that they gel well with each other and share the happiness together. Krunal, renowned in the company as ‘The Network Guy’ and Ketan Raval, the nurturer, arranged for the passes to this exciting event.
Everyone joins in
At LetsNurture, it just doesn’t matter whether it is a small event or a huge one; as all the employees always appreciate the idea are keen to be a part of it. All one needs to do is, put some efforts into making everyone participate! So after some emails and discussions, around 60 members agreed to join. And the best part about the event was, none of the employees were made to feel that they were enjoying without friends and family. Everyone was asked to provide the count of their family members and friends who would join with them so that the passes could be arranged in a smooth way.

LetsNurture Goes from Formal to Ethnic
On 27th, the Garba was held at the Barsana Village, an exclusive Gujarati traditional venue that reminds one of the rural Gujarat and on 28th it was held at Shantigram. We chose these venues as they are quite spacious for everyone to mingle and dance. Soi Dandiya Group was the organizer of the event and as a rule, everyone had to be dressed in a traditional attire. The timings were 8:30 pm to 12:00 pm.
We were all very happy to see a different streak in the employees. This time, they were not in their formals but in ethnic hues which made them look quite glamorous! And then, started the REAL thing. The teams of android, SEO and trainees started showing their moves and grooves with different garba steps. It is so much fun when there is music, laughter, dancing and chaos all at one place! Ritesh, Gati, Siddharaj, Rajal, Ankita, Rupal, Priyank, Krunal, Nilesh, Hitesh, Meshwa, Binal, Yashpal and many others were seen dancing at the best of their abilities with their family and friends. The nurturer too, danced the night away with Samruddhi, his little one and his wife.
Fun Galore
Yes! All we had was fun as the event was organized in the best way and it was a memorable experience for everyone. After rounds and rounds of tiresome garba, we sat down in a group for some chit chat and munching. Navratri this time was full of excitement and fun. If it was not for these 2 events, we wouldn’t have had the best time of our lives with our colleagues. We are looking forward to many more of such events so that our bond grows even stronger. Cheers & Happy Navratri!
