VIEWSNumerous sorts of wearables have invaded our lives in last few years and the way people have embraced the idea, has only paved the way for other similar wearable devices. Wearables have made life easier, less demanding and safer.
Recently Nuvo Group, an Israeli firm has come up with a brilliant wearable called as “Pregnancy monitor” that will play a role of a doctor for pregnant women in their later stages of pregnancy.
A wearable mobile monitor to keep a nearby watch on pregnant women and their developing fetus while they as they go on with their daily lives.
The PregSense is a kind of a belt that wraps around the mother’s tummy and that has sensors that identify the infant’s pulse, kicks, and even position inside the uterus.
Through attached BLE device, It gathers and transmits information. For e.g- the mother and child’s heart rates recorded to a phone and stored on a protected cloud-based database available to curious moms and their doctors.
Through a wearable application, Mother will optimize a visual representation of the information assembled by the wearable monitor. She can see the baby, the heart rates, and all the information even when the baby is awake, & hear the pulse whenever she wants to. Furthermore, every little information is made meticulously available to her. Whether she is relaxed or how she should rest, her actions, her heart movement, everything about her pregnancy, will be put into information.
This will help the would-be mothers to not see their doctor often for simple things as now she can monitor the things via this device, easily in her 32 weeks of pregnancy.
PregSense intended for the clinical use will ideally be launched one year from now while a buyer form of the gadget, will be accessible for around $250 by the year end. Imprecisely, the user version of the product is hoped to be available commercially by 2016.
This kind of device has a tremendous scope and the way we are progressing its a sure thing that we are going to live in a technological world in the years to come.
