And now when Obama has been elected as a president of America for second term, one thing is going to speculate a lot and that is social media for politics prediction. Social media is now playing a huge part in western countries in politics.

Overall story is about @barakobama was more influential than @Mittromney during #election2012 on Social Media. And Kred Score of @barakobama is 1000 vs @MittRomney 999 And By this we can predict who will win election.
Why Social Media is so effective?
About social media one thing is very sure you can love or hate but you cannot ignore it. Now everyone is on Social media your friends, family, your company, your boss, your employee, your brands, your relatives.And everyone is sharing opinions, emotions and reviews. Social Media is passive so people are comfortable to share everything on it and that is why it has become indirectly a direct way of sharing emotions, political opinions and many more decision making social aspects.
Huge number of social shares belongs to opinions, expression of emotions and reviews. This is why social media is definitely having an edge to predict.
