There was a lot for technology lovers to watch at this mega event. If you are looking forward to explore the most unique launches of CES 2015, you just can’t go away from this blog. Cyclists were blessed with some amazing innovations such as devices that can measure the power generated by the bike, calculate the overall distance travelled, know where you have travelled etc. If you are a cyclist and want to have the best ride in the world, you must have a look at the below given device launches at the mega event:
COBI – A Smart Bike with Multiple Controls
COBI is a smart bike that gives numerous functionalities while you ride it. With the smartphone dock on the handle, you can always stay connected to the internet by fixing your mobile on the dock. Most interesting feature of COBI is when you fix your phone in the dock, it connects to the COBI app and charges your phone as you ride through. Controlling the phone while riding can be really dangerous. A joystick that sits on the handle bar can be operated by your thumb to control the smartphone while riding COBI.
The LED lights which are placed just below the seat will adjust the brightness according to the daylight. The light glows bright when you decelerate or turn on either sides of the road. You can observe the heart-rate, calories burnt, tips to improve the speed etc. Music integration will be at its best when COBI is integrated with your iOS or Android devices. Security wise, this smart bike is capable enough to stop theft of it.
Connected Pedal

Gone are the days when you used to search for your bike when it was stolen by someone. Connected Cycle from France unveiled Connected Pedal at CES 2015 which can be named as an insurance policy for your bike if I am not wrong. The pedal fits in your bike and lets you know if it is moved or stolen through cloud. Utilizing the cloud technology in a perfect way and built-in GPS unit will foil the theft. The device lets you know if the bike is moved and displays the route to track the bike through an app. Additionally, it also gives information on the speed, calories burnt, routes and inclines.
Ebove Smart Bike from Activetainment

Now this is something different from the above concepts that benefit cyclists. Ebove smart bike from Activetainment is virtual bike that doesn’t require any smartglasses to see the virtual reality. But it is not a real product for the cyclists. It is pretty useful for those who loves paddling and want to experience the virtual world of cycling. But besides just watching the virtual world and paddling, it also gives the estimation of calories burnt, maximum speed, average speed, average distance, number of activities, elapsed time etc.
VR Road Cycle from Moneual

Yet another product for the cyclists who want to ride in a virtual reality world. Moneual which is known for its robotic vacuum cleaners and has won several awards at CES 2014. But this time it’s not the vacuum cleaners, this time the company has launched VR Road Cycle to experience the best of cycling. As compared to Ebove smart bike, the VR Road Cycle looks stylish and has the best design.
